If anyone has a local business they would like to promote in the Scarecrow Trail booklet they can do so for £15 … please contact us before we run out of spaces. Last request - Do any parents have links with a printing company who may be able to help with printing the banners and posters for the Scarecrow Trail? Please contact us.
News from St Andrew's Church
As Easter approaches I thought you’d like to see our services at St Andrew’s over the Easter weekend as you would be very welcome at all of them. There’ll be an Easter egg hunt for children during the 10am service on Easter Day.
We’ll also be celebrating Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week, on Sunday 14th April at our All Age worship at Tadpole Farm at 4pm. Please join us for refreshments, music, Bible story, children’s craft and prayer. Everyone welcome!
May I wish you all a happy and healthy Easter break.

Football Match Report
The boys found themselves in action again last week, unfortunately losing out to St Leonards. The boys showed great teamwork and spirit despite losing and their next game is this Wednesday at home to Red Oaks in a game some would call a local derby. Again a massive thank you to the parents as without your support these games wouldn't be able to go ahead.

Fundraising Updates
This week we have been sending off money and claiming books - thank you for the wonderful support these events have been given.
We raised a total of £762.23 for the book fair (cash £478.20, credit card sales £284.03), which gives just under £400.00 to buy books for school. Those of you who did the sponsored read or listen event have also contributed a great selection of books to our growing libraries - thanks to Laura Harrison for organising this event.
Red Nose donations totalled a massive £544.73, which has been paid to the charity this week.
Three worthwhile events showing the service and generosity demonstrated by all of you - thank you, thank you, thank you.
This Week's Book Recommendations
Rather than recommending 3 books this week, we'd like to point you in the direction of a great website called Love Reading 4 Kids - it suggests many books and you can even read extracts of books to see if you think you would like them - a great place to go for getting a list of reading ready to enjoy over the Easter Holidays - https://www.lovereading4kids.co.uk/browse-by-age.
