Canada did well in the recently-released 2017 Hamburg G20 Summit Interim Compliance Report, according to the G20 research group.

Canada and the European Union had the highest scores while Saudi Arabia and Turkey had the lowest.

The report looked at compliance on 17 key commitments made by G20 members at the summit (out of the total 531 commitments).

These commitments included: action on climate change, corruption, the digital economy, gender, strengthening health systems, macroeconomics, migration, development goals, taxes, trade, financial regulation, waste reduction, food & agriculture and sustainable energy.

The final report will be released in time for the next G20 meeting in Buenos Aires on November 30.

The report was prepared by the G20 research group at the University of Toronto and the Centre for International Institutions Research of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration in Moscow.
